Pittsburgh Couldn’t Trade For Jakobi Meyers. They Won’t Be Able To Sign Him This Offseason, Either.

If Omar Khan had his way, wide receiver Jakobi Meyers would be in Pittsburgh. Instead, he’s tearing it up in Jacksonville. And doing it for the long-haul. After a strong stint with the Jaguars since being traded from the Las Vegas Raiders in November, Jacksonville signed Meyers to a three-year, $60 million deal, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter and multiple other outlets.

Obviously, it means Meyers won’t hit free agency this offseason as he was scheduled to be.

Breaking: The Jaguars are finalizing a three-year, $60 million extension that includes $40 million guaranteed for WR Jakobi Meyers, tying him to Jacksonville through the 2028 season, sources tell @AdamSchefter.
