Penguins 'hold our own destiny in our hands' after much-needed 4-2 win over Flyers

The Penguins' 4-2 win over the Flyers at PPG Paints Arena on Sunday evening didn't exactly "save the season." There's still a lot of hockey left to be played.

It was a good win, but not one you can put much weight into -- this was a non-playoff Flyers team, missing a couple of their key players, starting an AHL goaltender in net.

It was a much-needed win, too. The Penguins' 4-3 loss to the Bruins on Saturday and the Panthers' subsequent 7-0 obliteration of the Blue Jackets temporarily knocked the Penguins out of a playoff position, as the Panthers overtook them for the final wild card spot.
