Aaron Rodgers practiced fully for the first time since his wrist injury on Thursday, and he appears to be on track to start Sunday against the Buffalo Bills in a critical AFC matchup for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tom Pelissero gave the latest Friday on what he’s hearing via NFL Network’s Good Morning Football.
“[Mike] Tomlin said entering the week that he had great optimism about Rodgers’ status. Still some final conversations surely to be had, but it does seem to be trending toward Rodgers starting on Sunday against the Bills,” Pelissero said.
When Rodgers spoke to the media on Wednesday, he mentioned more time to heal was the biggest reason for optimism for a different result over last week.
