Pittsburgh Steelers star outside linebacker T.J. Watt spent Wednesday night in a Pittsburgh-area hospital while dealing with a lung problem and didn’t practice Thursday with the team as very little information was available regarding the player and the medical issue.
Now, according to NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero, it’s trending towards Watt not playing on Monday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins in another pivotal game down the stretch for the AFC North-leading Steelers.
Appearing on Good Morning Football Friday, Pelissero provided the latest update on Watt.
“The Steelers announced that T.J. Watt is in a local hospital undergoing evaluation of his lung after experiencing discomfort at the team facility on Wednesday.
