Pelissero: Steelers ‘Hopeful’ T.J. Watt Will Return Next Week

The Pittsburgh Steelers are without star OLB T.J. Watt on Monday Night Football after a dry-needling accident led to a punctured and partially collapsed lung that required a procedure to fix. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, there is hope for a return sooner rather than later.

“The Steelers meanwhile will not have their star pass rusher, T.J. Watt, who is out for the game after being hospitalized last week and undergoing a procedure to fix a small hole in his lung. The turnaround was just too quick for Watt to play this week,” Pelissero said on NFL GameDay Morning.
