To the shock of many, North Carolina State linebacker Payton Wilson fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, where he was taken with the No. 98 overall pick.

Wilson was one of the best linebackers, if not the best linebacker, in this class. He had 92 tackles in 2023, including 41 run stops, and three interceptions. When he was targeted, he only allowed a passer rating of 47.2- he was tremendous.

And already on day one of rookie minicamp at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex in the South Side of Pittsburgh, Wilson is already standing out amongst his peers in his first day wearing some sort of on-field garments.
