The Texans have been among the best in the league in turnovers on both sides of the ball, but so have the Steelers. Both Houston and Pittsburgh rank in the top four in most takeaways and in fewest giveaways. But the Steelers rely more on winning the turnover margin, so they know they have work to do.
The Steelers went 1-6 when they didn’t win the turnover margin — even when they tied, they still lost. They went 9-1 when they won, the only exception being Week 17’s awful loss to the Browns. The Steelers can’t afford another Browns game against the Texans, though.
