Leading up to this season, Mike Tomlin showered the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense with praise. He was confident that they’d be able to do special things. Through two weeks of play, rather than being spectacular, they’ve been spectacularly bad. In Week 1, the New York Jets punched them in the mouth. Now, in Week 2, they allowed the Seattle Seahawks to do similar things, except this time, the Steelers lost. This is following the Steelers’ rough defensive showing to end 2024. However, Patrick Queen doesn’t think they’re dealing with the same issues.
“Something different,” Queen said after the game via the team’s website.
