Pat Freiermuth Admits Frustration With Lack Of Snaps

The Pittsburgh Steelers were supposed to have three-headed monster at tight end entering the 2025 season with Darnell Washington, Jonnu Smith and Pat Freiermuth under offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, whom many considered the tight end whisperer.

Yet, while Washington has enjoyed a breakout season, Smith has been a disappointment and Freiermuth has been largely forgotten about despite being one of the highest-paid tight ends in the NFL and a guy many viewed as a leader offensively.

So far this season, Freiermuth has just 26 receptions for 298 yards and four touchdowns, a far cry from the numbers he put up a season ago.
