The Pittsburgh Steelers traded WR George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys for a package that includes a 2026 third-round draft pick, and trading away one of the team’s top receivers doesn’t have ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky confident about Pittsburgh’s chances of returning to the playoffs. On Get Up! this morning, Orlovsky said that the deal takes the Steelers out of playoff contention.
“I think this move takes Pittsburgh firmly out of the playoff conversation. Their offense is really DK Metcalf and Pat Freiermuth right now, Robert Woods. So they don’t really have that secondary pass option.
