ALTOONA, Pa. -- One of the players the Pirates received from the Florida Marlins in the Jacob Stallings trade from November, Zach Thompson, will start today's game for the Buccos against the Chicago Cubs at PNC Park. The other two players were down in Richmond, Va., Tuesday night helping the Class AA Altoona Curve pick up a victory.
Outfielder Connor Scott ripped a two-run single in the fourth inning to give the Curve a 3-0 lead, and they held on to beat Richmond, 3-2.
