After Week 5 of the NFL season, things are starting to take shape as to who are legitimate contenders in each division. While it’s still early and teams can definitely go on large winning streaks, most teams have pretty much shown where they stand. As the second quarter of the season progresses, the picture will continue to get more and more into focus.
The New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers are the only remaining undefeated teams heading into Week 6. New England has already notched their sixth victory on Thursday night while the 49ers get a chance to show yet again they are an NFC powerhouse as they take on last year’s Super Bowl representative, the Los Angeles Rams.
