DK Metcalf is set to make his case. Even with long odds to overturn his two-game suspension, he’ll look to reduce some of the punishment received for his altercation with a Detroit Lions fan during Sunday’s game. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler outlines how Metcalf will present his argument.
“DK Metcalf is going to argue that not only was he incited, but that this was a reoccurring thing,” Fowler said on SportsCenter Tuesday afternoon. “Apparently, that this fan had been involved in the past with trying to egg on Metcalf and get his attention. Some of those things still doesn’t excuse the behavior, but he is hoping to knock that two game suspension down to either one game or maybe a hefty fine.
