The Pittsburgh Steelers became the ninth team to be in need of a new coach in the 2026 offseason, as Mike Tomlin stepped down following a playoff loss to the Houston Texans. Pittsburgh will be hiring just their fourth coach since 1969.
While the Steelers may not look like a team that is destined to immediately go on a championship run now that Tomlin has vacated his post, some rumors from an NFL insider make it sound as though Pittsburgh is going to have no shortage of top coaches from around the league asking for this job on bended knee.
