Kenny Pickett continues to come into his own as a leader for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and is already impressing new teammates.
Free agent offensive lineman Nate Herbig, who was introduced to Steelers media Thursday after his two-year, $8 million deal became official, Herbig praised the Steelers’ young quarterback, comparing his leadership to Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback Jalen Hurts, whom Herbig spent two seasons with in Philadelphia.
According to Herbig, Pickett was one of the first Steelers’ players to reach out to him after Herbig agreed to a contract with the Steelers in the legal tampering window.
