New Contract Details For Steelers TE David Johnson

The Pittsburgh Steelers re-signed tight end David Johnson on Thursday and his two-year contract totals out at $2.05 million, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.

Johnson received a $235,000 signing bonus as part of the deal and is scheduled to earn a base salary of $900,000 in 2017. His base salary in 2018 is scheduled to be $915,000. Both base salaries are the minimum for his accrued years in the league.

As you can see, Johnson can still be cut without much issue should he fail to win out during training camp.
