Aaron Rodgers was the oldest player in the NFL for most of this season. However, that changed when Philip Rivers came out of retirement after five years to suit up for the Indianapolis Colts. Rivers shocked the world with his decision. Even though the Colts have one game left, Rivers isn’t going to play. That’s a little surprising considering that he’s only a little over 100 yards away from overtaking Ben Roethlisberger on the all-time passing yards list. That’s not something Rivers cares about, though.
“That would’ve been another reason for me not to try to push to play,” Rivers said recently on Up and Adams with Kay Adams.
