Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett didn’t get to tie – or set -the official NFL sack record Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Disappointing as that may be, it’ll offer Garrett the chance to do so at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17.
Garrett sits at 22.0 sacks for the season. That’s a half-sack away from tying the mark set by Michael Strahan in 2001 and matched by T.J. Watt in 2021. And one away from standing alone.
Late in the first half, Garrett came close to tying the mark. But he missed taking down QB Josh Allen for a full sack.
