The Pittsburgh Steelers stated they had a plan coming into the Week 17 matchup against the Cleveland Browns to try and negate star defensive end Myles Garrett in his pursuit of the single-season sacks record.
Then, that plan worked well individually as the Steelers held Garrett without a sack. But that plan seemingly wrecked the rest of the plan offensively as the Steelers were an abject disaster with the football, leading to an abysmal showing in a 13-6 loss in Cleveland in poor conditions.
For Garrett, it was clear what the plan was for the Steelers on the day, limiting his impact.
