It’s not a good season for those of us who have spent years arguing for T.J. Watt in the never-ending who’s better debate with Myles Garrett.
In what has been a down season by his standards, Watt has watched Garrett not only close the gap but surpass him in several key areas. Now Garrett has added another data point to his case, setting a new single-season sack record by recording his 23rd sack and passing Watt’s 22.5 from 2021—a mark originally set by Michael Strahan in 2001.
