On a cold night on the North Shore, the Pittsburgh Steelers were the more physical team, leading to a dominant win over the Miami Dolphins to send another message to the rest of the AFC that the Black and Gold should be taken seriously in December.
Despite that strong statement, the Steelers once again missed double-digit tackles for the fifth time in six games. They’re still on pace to set the team record in 2021 for misses in a season, too, at least since charting missed tackles dating back to 2016 here at Steelers Depot.
But those double-digit misses ultimately didn’t cost them, and largely occurred when the game was all but over.
