Last week, we discussed that what the Steelers offense was doing in training camp practices was very encouraging from a schematic standpoint. Hopefully that translates to the preseason and then to the regular season and maybe beyond.
We shall see.
However, from a personnel grouping standpoint on that side of the ball, I want to you keep an eye out for three groupings that were used very sparingly last season. In the preseason, it doesn’t matter what players they specifically use in these groupings. I just want to see them being employed and utilized.
