Over the course of this season, Pittsburgh Steelers fans have found plenty of reasons to be upset with Mike Tomlin. One of the bigger Tomlin criticism fans have had over the years relates to his decision making on fourth downs. Whether it’s being far too passive, or far too aggressive, he’s gotten his fair share of blame, not without reason.
On Friday, The Athletic’s Austin Mock published an article ranking each playoff head coach in terms of fourth-down decision making. It may not be a surprise to Steelers fans to see that Mock ranked Tomlin near the bottom, 13th out of the 14 coaches.
