Mike Tomlin Willing to Forgive Roman Wilson’s ‘Boneheaded’ Fumble, Sees ‘Steady Improvement’

All the Pittsburgh Steelers had to do to close out Sunday’s game over the Indianapolis Colts was get a few first downs and run out the clock. WR Roman Wilson had picked up one of those first downs with under 3:40 to play, but Wilson attempted a hurdle, fumbled, and gave the Colts new life. The Steelers still closed out the 27-20 win, but the fumble made the game much closer than it needed to be. In his Tuesday press conference, head coach Mike Tomlin took issue with the lack of ball security, but did admit he’s seen improvement from Wilson.
