Mike Tomlin Ties Chuck Noll Atop Steelers’ All-Time Win List

Mike Tomlin earned regular-season win No. 193 Sunday night, tying him with Hall of Famer Chuck Noll for the most wins in Pittsburgh Steelers history. Tomlin tied Noll’s all-time mark and now shares first place in the franchise’s history, securing the victory in a 26-24 regular-season finale win over the Baltimore Ravens that sends Pittsburgh to the playoffs and Baltimore home.

It’s a remarkable milestone for Tomlin, the once-unknown coach who became Pittsburgh’s choice to succeed Bill Cowher starting in 2007. Tomlin made an immediate impression and won a Super Bowl in just his second year on the job, a quick turnaround from the team’s 2005 title run.
