Pittsburgh Steelers HC Mike Tomlin and QB Aaron Rodgers forged a bond over the months and weeks preceding his signing. While he took his sweet time reporting, they built a relationship that will carry them into the season. Appearing yesterday on The Pat McAfee Show, Tomlin talked about that process and what it means for the group now.
“It was kind of a bromance. For me, I was just excited to get to know the guy on a personal level”, Tomlin said of his conversations with Rodgers. “I slow-roasted it, if you will. I didn’t try to microwave it”, he added, detailing the nature of the talks.
