Mike Tomlin Shuts Down Notion That QB Kenny Pickett Is Lacking Confidence

The Pittsburgh Steelers fell 13-10 to the Cleveland Browns on the road. It was a similar script to most of their other games this season, except they couldn’t close it out in the fourth quarter. Kenny Pickett finished the day with his lowest yardage total in a game he started and finished. He attempted 28 passes, completing 15 for 106 yards. He also took three sacks to lose 29 yards.

Including the sacks, the passing game contributed 77 yards today which is obviously not good enough. Up against the stingiest defense in the league, some struggles were expected, but this was a new low for the Steelers’ passing attack.
