Mike Tomlin Sees Najee Harris As A Born Leader: ‘Winning Is The Utmost Importance To Him’

Pittsburgh Steelers HC Mike Tomlin spoke to the media Monday morning during the media breakfast at the NFL Owner’s Meetings in Phoenix, Arizona. During his media availability, Tomlin was asked about various topics including OLB Alex Highsmith’s breakout season and the fact that Pittsburgh currently has one of the smallest coaching staffs in the National Football League.

Tomlin was also asked about RB Najee Harris and his maturation process to become one of the team’s leaders on the offensive side of the football. Tomlin responded that Harris did a great job taking on a more vocal role last season in the absence of QB Ben Roethlisberger from the team and looks forward to seeing how his leadership expands heading into Year Three in the league.
