The buzz around Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers isn’t the franchise’s upcoming Wild Card game but whether or not Tomlin will be the team’s head coach next season – or if he’ll make a jump to television instead. Wednesday, Tomlin responded to those rumors, largely claiming ignorance to the idea.
“I don’t participate in any of that,” Tomlin told Rich Eisen when asked about ramping speculation he’ll leave coaching for television. “I can’t allow myself to. I’m not even really privy to the specifics of what you’re talking about. I just realize it’s a component of what I do and what we do.
