Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf left the locker room early after the win over the Detroit Lions, declining to comment on the altercation with a Detroit Lions fan that was captured on camera by CBS.
According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review’s Chris Adamski, Metcalf left the locker room before the media was allowed in. Additionally, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin declined to comment on the incident, too, stating he heard about it but hasn’t had a chance to talk to his star receiver about it.
“I heard about it, but I hadn’t seen it and I hadn’t had an opportunity to talk to DK and so I have no comment,” Tomlin said of the incident between Metcalf and the fan.
