The Pittsburgh Steelers had every chance in the world to beat the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. The defense did its job, holding the Browns to just 13 points, which included a field goal via excellent field position from a turnover. The offense had a chance to win the game, with four straight chances at the end zone from 10 yards out. That included three consecutive looks to Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
Spoiler alert, that didn’t work out. Speaking after the game, Mike Tomlin had no issues with the Steelers’ decision to target Valdes-Scantling on the final three plays.
“He [Rodgers] had eligibles on the play, and certainly he [Valdes-Scantling] was one of them.
