The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without star wide receiver DK Metcalf moving forward, whether that’s two games after his suspension or one game. That might be a big blow to the Steelers’ offense overall, but Metcalf’s absence opens an opportunity for others.
One such player that Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin highlighted Tuesday during his press conference is second-year wide receiver Roman Wilson, who has been inactive the last few weeks as veterans Adam Thielen and Marquez Valdes-Scantling were added into the fold.
Now, with Metcalf out of the picture for the time being, that opens up the door of opportunity for others to step in and fill the void.
