Mike Tomlin is no longer the Pittsburgh Steelers’ head coach. He stepped down after 19 seasons with the team. That comes after another blowout playoff loss. While the Steelers never had a losing season under Tomlin, they also haven’t won a playoff game in almost 10 years. Reports indicate Tomlin’s decision still left the Steelers surprised. Insider Josina Anderson shared that this has been something Tomlin has been considering for quite some time.
“The facts of the matter are: League sources heard that Mike Tomlin was contemplating leaving Pittsburgh even before the season started,” Anderson wrote Tuesday on Twitter.
