The Pittsburgh Steelers are not afraid of drafting players from smaller conferences. To be specific, they are not afraid to draft, and use, players from the Mid-Atlanta Conference (MAC).
Why is this all of a sudden news worthy? It all started after a comment Mike Tomlin made on Tuesday during his press conference leading up to the Week 11 game with the Jacksonville Jaguars. When asked if he was afraid this could be construed as a “trap game”, Tomlin responded with this:
“I understand that that is things that you guys like to talk about, but this is the NFL.
