‘Metcalf’s Fault:’ Anonymous Coach Blames Steelers WR For First INT Against Bengals

The Pittsburgh Steelers built their offense around Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf forming a connection strong enough to carry the unit at times. Although it’s been somewhat sporadic, those two have started to get into a rhythm as the season’s progressed. Last Thursday, though, there were some struggles.

The offense started well, with Rodgers hitting Metcalf on a deep ball on the first drive of the game. But after the Steelers got out to an early 10-0 lead their offense hit a speed bump. They’d recover, but Rodgers threw two crucial first-half interceptions, both intended for Metcalf. The first seemed to be a bad read and an overthrow from Rodgers.
