It feels like it wasn’t all that long ago that grisly ‘old’ (turned 30 in the summer) veteran center Maurkice Pouncey had a hard time letting anybody not named Ben Roethlisberger put his hands under his butt. There was a time early in Landry Jones’ career that they were not using Pouncey with the rest of the starting line when Jones was getting snaps. He had to earn working with the All-Pro center.
I don’t know if Mason Rudolph was subjected to any kind of initiation hazing in that regard, but if he has, it’s long been in the past.
