The Steelers have had lackluster quarterback play this season.
Amongst all quarterbacks who have played at least 75 snaps this season, Kenny Pickett ranks 33rd in EPA/play and Mitch Trubisky ranks 39th.
The poor play of Trubisky in the loss to the Patriots has some fans clamoring for the Steelers to start Mason Rudolph. When asked if he is getting a fair shot to play, Rudolph said he’ll be ready when the time comes.
“Listen, I’m a backup quarterback right now in the NFL and I’m very thankful,” Rudolph said. “You think about how much work it takes for all the guys in the locker room to get to this level.
