The Steelers had a surprise inactive ahead of Thursday night’s matchup with the New England Patriots.

Edge rusher Markus Golden was made inactive despite not appearing on the injury report.

The veteran has been a solid piece this season, and has made most of the snaps he’s gotten with three sacks thus far.

Golden was signed this off-season after spending the last two years with the Arizona Cardinals.
