If position coaches are judged by the performance of their players, then Steelers OL coach Pat Meyer deserves some praise. Heavily scrutinized throughout his tenure in Pittsburgh, he finally has his unit turning the corner. And all it took was significant investments—including time and teaching—in the group.

Down to their fourth-string left tackle, with their left guard missing the game in Detroit, while juggling the tackle-eligible role, it is a lot.
