The Pittsburgh Steelers have always been known as a physical team, and that starts up front.
The team has had some great offensive lineman in its history, and after David DeCastro’s release, we’re looking back on the best to ever wear the black and gold. David DeCastro’s time in Pittsburgh came to a sudden and surprising end when the team announced that they released him on June 24.
While his release came as a surprise and serves as a big hit to the group that looks to protect Ben Roethlisberger this offseason, that should not take away from what he meant to the team during his nine years in Pittsburgh.
