‘Looked Like His Younger Self:’ Alex Highsmith Impressed By Aaron Rodgers Turning Back The Clock

The Pittsburgh Steelers held on late and knocked off the Baltimore Ravens, 27-22, on Sunday. OLB Alex Highsmith ended the game with a sack of Ravens QB Lamar Jackson as the clock run out. But for him, he and his teammates rallied around Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers.

And Rodgers delivered. He ran for a touchdown on the Steelers’ first possession, threw what turned out to be the game-winning touchdown later, and generally played incredible football. Analyst Steve Palazzolo said he was “the best Aaron Rodgers I’ve seen in years.” And Highsmith agrees.

“He looked like his younger self out there, especially that first touchdown, it was awesome to see,” Highsmith said Sunday on SiriusXM NFL Radio’s Sunday Standouts.
