I’ve seen fans burn their jerseys and if I’ve seen one social media rant I’ve seen them all. There’s a large number of Pittsburgh Steelers’ fans who aren’t thrilled that Aaron Rodgers is their quarterback. At some point however, we all need to accept the fact he’s here and he isn’t going anywhere until the end of the season.
Steelers’ Head Coach Mike Tomlin confirmed as much today. He was asked if he saw a quarterback controversy ahead he quickly replied “I don’t.” Despite not needing to, I’ll paraphrase, Rodgers is the starter and that’s that. Therefore, it’s time to just accept the fact that Rodgers is the guy who will be under center – barring injury – week one in New York.
