Another year with the Pittsburgh Steelers squarely in the playoff hunt means another season of hope that they might finally break their long postseason losing streak. This year looks similarly daunting, with the Steelers’ potential first-round opponents including the Chargers, Bills, Patriots, Texans and Jaguars.
The Steelers have the worst record of all viable AFC playoff teams at 8-6. Thus, there’s a good chance they’ll be underdogs if they do make the playoffs. However, they would be hosting a playoff game, and if it’s Los Angeles that comes to town, former NFL offensive lineman Kyle Long thinks the Steelers have a good chance to win their first playoff game since 2016.
