With a secondary that’s seen a lot of poor play and a rash of injuries, the Pittsburgh Steelers knew they needed help at safety. Thus, they brought in Kyle Dugger, hoping he could help spark a unit that was struggling in just about every way.
Dugger had a big role in the Steelers’ win this week, playing a ton of snaps in a defensive effort that was much more impressive from the entire unit than the last couple of weeks. Speaking after the game, Mike Tomlin said Dugger got a game ball, and Tomlin was very appreciative of his efforts.
