At this point, fans will either understand the Pittsburgh Steelers’ plan against Myles Garrett or they won’t. Either they will recognize Pittsburgh’s plan against Garrett Sunday wasn’t atypical compared to previous matchups. Or they will continue to believe Pittsburgh cared more about stopping Garrett’s sack record pursuit than winning the game.
But to complete the record of my thoughts, the Steelers did not do anything different compared to normal. They approached Garrett with careful acknowledgment of his ability to ruin a game. That’s shown in every way possible.
