The Pittsburgh Steelers placed linebackers coach Joey Porter on leave Monday following his Sunday night incident at a bar on the Southside that resulted in him being arrested and it’s unclear at this point when and if he’ll ultimately be reinstated.
With Porter’s coaching future with Pittsburgh now up in the air, it appears as though former Steelers linebacker and 2016 Hall of Fame Class member Kevin Greene might be interested in coaching the Pittsburgh outside linebackers should the position ultimately come open.
Greene was busy on Twitter Monday retweeting several people who suggested he should be the Steelers next outside linebackers coach and because of that, you have to think he’d have interest in doing just that.
