He’s already the team MVP after an impressive 2025 season, but now entering the postseason, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Kennth Gainwell has a chance to be a star for the Black and Gold.
Against a tough Houston Texans defense, the Steelers will need to get the ball out quickly in the passing game. That plays right into Gainwell’s hands — literally.
Gainwell led the Steelers in receptions this season with 73 receptions, and has established himself as a trustworthy, go-to piece for Pittsburgh’s offense with Aaron Rodgers under center.
For NFL.com’s Jeffri Chadiha, Gainwell is the Steelers’ X-Factor entering the postseason against the Texans and has a chance to be the “unsung hero” for the Black and Gold.
