Pittsburgh Steelers superstar T.J. Watt is entering the final year of his contract, and the Steelers are somewhat behind the eight ball. The Las Vegas Raiders and Cleveland Browns have paid Maxx Crosby and Myles Garrett, respectively, the latter of whom will make $40 million per year on his new contract, which makes him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
Mark Kaboly reported on Kaboly and Mack that the Steelers have a “substantial offer” on the table for Watt, but he also noted that the deal is probably not what Watt is looking for.
