Do not mistake the Pittsburgh Steelers’ lack of action at the trade deadline for a lack of trying. They were heavily linked to the WR market for weeks leading up to the Nov. 4 cutoff, and Omar Khan gave his best effort to upgrade the team. But they weren’t going to sell the farm and jeopardize their long-term plans in the process.

“There were some guys they were in on pretty deep that stayed put,” Mark Kaboly said via his Kaboly + Mack podcast. “Do I know the exact names of these people? No, but he went out there and they tried to upgrade the wide receiver position and they just weren’t going to sell the farm.
