If you were holding out hope for a T.J. Watt/J.J. Watt reunion someday, I have some bad news for you. Moments ago, J.J. Watt tweeted that he’ll be retiring after the Arizona Cardinals’ season ends in two weeks, hanging up his cleats after an incredible career though a second act that has marred by injury.
Here’s what Watt tweeted.
Koa’s first ever NFL game.
My last ever NFL home game.My heart is filled with nothing but love and gratitude. It’s been an absolute honor and a pleasure.

Watt, turning 34 in March, was drafted 11th overall by the Houston Texans in 2011.
